Am I running the ODB or SQL version of HandiSoft?
You can also access the HandiSoft Updates page from your HandiSoft module under Help, About, Software Updates.
To install or upgrade your HandiSoft modules:
Important: Ensure you have a current working backup of your \HSoft folder and all users have exited all HandiSoft and Microsoft programs before installing updates.
Note: Updates are not full versions and can only be installed if you have installed the full version. I.e., if you are on version 1.00, you can update directly to 1.0x versions without the incremental updates.
From your applicable HandiSoft upgrades website, click HandiSoft Upgrades.
Click on the Product name. e.g HandiTax.
If the download does not begin automatically, try a different browser.
Follow any prompts and save the file to a location where it can be run later, i.e. Downloads. We do not recommend saving the download in your HSoft folder.
Using File Explorer, locate the download, then double-click the executable e.g. HT102all.exe.
Tip: If the version is 1.00, this indicates there are no current updates.
Note: Ensure the install path points to the correct HSoft folder, or if read more if you can't change the install path.
