Important:
Backup codes will only allow you to log into Access Evo (previously called Access Workspace). Once in Access Evo, the 2FA can be disabled or changed.
If you don't have your backup codes, the 2FA will need to be disabled by Access Security. This process can take 3-5 working days, see Disable two-factor authentication (2FA) request form for more information.
We recommend receiving the MFA 6-digit code via an Authenticator Application on your smartphone rather than a text message, as the delivery of the MFA code by Authenticator Application is almost 100% guaranteed. Using an Authenticator Application ensures you and your staff will have access to HandiSoft products within HandiSoft Online. We do not recommend Text Message delivery of the MFA code due to the less secure and reliable delivery of the code.
If you don't have your smartphone, you will need to log in to Access Evo by selecting the option Use one of my backup codes.
Enter a backup code.
Select Sign in and click Change my settings. If you do not have access to a mobile phone select Continue to Access Workspace.
Select Two-factor authentication then click Add authenticator app. We do not recommend using the Text Message authentication method, as your mobile provider can experience delays in sending the code.
Scan the OCR code in your preferred authenticator app, i.e. Google Authenticator, enter the code and click Verify, Close.
Select Generate new backup codes, tick I understand the use of backup codes, and click Generate codes. It is important to save these backup codes.
Click Back and on the top of the screen select Sign out and close all browser tabs.
Log back into the website: go.access-workspace.com.au, enter your email and password and click Sign in.
Select Use my authenticator app and click Next.
