The Lodgment Statistics report allows you to determine the percentage of returns lodged on time under the Database Analysis of Tax Return Lodgments section of the report in Access HandiTax.
β
The report uses the dates entered in the Client's Tax Form Details window under the Latest Date and Lodged to report returns lodged on time.
To run the report go to Reports, Client, Lodgment Statistics report.
Highlight your tax agent and click Enter.
It reports on I, P,T, C, F and MS returns, and where applicable FBT returns (this section only displays where you have at least one FBT form created) and excludes amendments.
β
The reason that amendments are excluded is that the report is determining whether the original returns have been lodged on time and amendments do not have a due date.
Notes:
The legend to the report explains how the figures are generated.
The returns lodged on time assumes that if the return is lodged on the latest date it is on-time.
The Returns not used in Calculation is all returns with no Latest Date, i.e. field is blank.
The figures and calculations are based on the information contained in your HandiTax database and not the ATO's database.
The Latest Date is the Last Lodgment Date that the ATO has stipulated for this tax form. This information is available by lodging an Income Tax Client report and can also be manually typed into the applicable field in the Client's Tax Form details window. The information can be automatically imported from the Income tax client report by following the steps in the article: Income Client Tax Report in Access HandiTax.
