HandiRegister - Lodge an RA71 then Read the download in HandiRegister

Lodge an RA71

  1. Log in to HandiRegister.

  2. Select the Company.

  3. Go to Lodgment, Modem Transmission.

  4. Choose RA71 from the drop-down list then click Lodge.

  5. Select the relevant options and click OK.

Where company data already exists, the option to Read the Download will be unavailable until the company's data is deleted.

RA71: Where Read the download is not an option:
When you select the company after the RA71 request, a message window will state that a data download has been received. If the option to Read the Download is unavailable, this indicates HandiRegister already has data recorded against the company. You must Compare the Data Download with existing company information and decide if you want to replace the current data with the data download.

Compare download and data

  1. Log in to HandiRegister.

  2. Select the Company.

  3. In the ASIC Download Data Found window, select Compare Download and Data and click OK.

  4. Examine the company extract and note any difference(s) between the data download information and the current HandiRegister information.

  5. Print the company extract if required, then click Close.

  6. The download status of the client will now be set as Completed.

Delete All company data

To read the data downloaded in, you must first delete all data attached to the company.

  1. Select the Company.

  2. Click Delete, then select Delete ALL Company Data.

  3. Click Ok.

  4. Select the Company again to see Read the download.

  5. Click Ok.

  6. All details for this company will be Deleted before reading the download Continue? select Yes.

  7. View the company extract which is now the data that has been imported into HandiRegister as per the ASIC download.


If, after completing the steps above to compare the download and data, you decide to keep your company's current HandiRegister data, you can delete the data download:

  1. Select the Company.

  2. In the ASIC Download Data Found window, click Delete the download then Ok.

Note: You can manually record any changes instead of deleting the data and then reading the download.
