HandiTax - Error Bad cache flush past EOF in HandiTax

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When performing a prefill in HandiTax, the Bad cache flush past EOF error may occur, causing the application to become non-responsive. If this occurs, you will need to close HandiTax using Task Manager.

Antivirus

This can occur if the Antivirus on the computer corrupts the import file. We recommended that you pause or disable your Antivirus for a limited time and try again.

Tip: The Antivirus must be paused on the workstation and the server. If the prefill is successful while the Antivirus is paused, we recommend that you exclude the HSoft folder from Realtime scanning on both the workstation and the Server.

Note: If you're using HandiSoft Online, please close all programs, sign out from the top via Ctrl+Alt+Del, Sign Out and check for Citrix Updates.

Related Reference

Does the client have a Related Ref set in the Client Details window? If so, please remove, then perform the prefill.
