HandiLedger - Bad cache flush past EOF when posting imported transactions in HandiLedger

Received the message 'Bad cache flush past EOF' when posting transactions that have been imported into HandiLedger from other or adding a new entity in Citrix Workspace for HandiSoft Online or in SuperFund

Updated over a month ago

Bad cache flush past EOF when posting imported transactions.

  • The application may become non-responsive, requiring it to be closed using Task Manager.

  • This occurs if the Antivirus on the computer corrupts the file that is being imported.

  • We recommended that you pause or disable your Antivirus for a limited time and try to post the imported transactions again.

Note: The Antivirus must be paused on the workstation and the server. If the import is successful while the Antivirus is paused, we recommend that you exclude the HSoft folder from Realtime scanning on both the workstation and the Server.

If this is occurring in HandiLedger or SuperFund in HandiSoft Online, try to sign out from the top via Ctrl+Alt+Del, Sign Out and check for Citrix Updates.

If the issue persists and you're using HandiLedger within the Access HandiSoft Online Workspace environment, raise a support case online and reference the title of this article.

If you're not using HandISoft Online, ensure the 'HSoft' directory is added to your exceptions/exclusions list on both the server and workstations.
