Check for Citrix updates

Citrix updates are performed on a user's local computer. We recommend checking for Citrix updates regularly.

Check for Citrix updates

  1. Sign out of your HandiSoft Online session via the top menu bar, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Sign Out.

  2. On the bottom taskbar on your local machine, left-click the arrow ( ^ ) and then right-click on the blue and white Citrix icon, then click Check for Updates.

  3. If an update is available, install the update, then restart your computer.

Note: You may need to clear your browser cache.

Clear your browser cache

Google Chrome

  1. Open the Google Chrome browser.

  2. At the top right, click the three-dot icon.

  3. Click More tools and then click Clear browsing data.

  4. At the top, choose a time range i.e. to delete everything, select All time.

  5. Tick the checkboxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  6. Click Clear data.

Edge

  1. Open the Edge browser.

  2. Click on the three-dot icon (Settings and more), then click Settings.

  3. Click on Privacy, search and services.

  4. Click on Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.

  5. At the top, use the down arrow to select a time range.

  6. Tick the checkboxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

  7. Click Clear Now.

Note: If you are unable to install the update, you can go directly to the Citrix website to download the latest version of Workspace app for Windows. If you still experience issues installing Citrix on your computer, check with your IT consultant to temporarily disable your Antivirus/Firewall before attempting the installation again.
