Use the timer in Time+Billing to record time items and automatically add them to your timesheet using Time Slips. You can start the timer from the Timesheet Entry window, your toolbar, or the computer notification bar.
Start the timer from the Timesheet entry window
To record time using the Timesheet entry window:
Log in to Time+Billing.
Go to Input, TImesheet, Today's timesheet (F8).
In the Timesheet entry window, click Time slips.
Enter the Job and Time details, then click Start.
Click Stop when the task is complete.
Click Save.
Close the window.
Start the timer from the Time+Billing toolbar
To use the toolbar timer:
Click Start Time Slip Timer to begin timing.
Click again to post the timed event.
Right-click to pause or reset the timer.
Start the timer from your computer's notification bar
To use the notification bar timer:
Click the clock icon to start timing.
Right-click the icon to pause, reset, or post the time entry.
Customise the notification icon
To manage how the timer appears in your computer's notification bar:
Open Control Panel.
Go to Sounds and Audio Devices Properties.
Adjust system notification settings as required.
Open Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.
Click Customise Notifications.
Show or hide the Time+Billing notification icon.
