Document Manager - Delete signed documents in Document Manager

Once a client has signed a document that was sent to them, it will automatically be locked against deletion. If you can log in to HandiSoft with the username Administrator, you will have access to an additional Document Hub functionality, allowing you to unlock the document.

  1. Log in to HandiSoft or Practice Manager Contact as the username Administrator.

  2. Log in to Document Manager (F10).

  3. Find the signed documents that you wish to delete.

  4. You can unlock the document by right-clicking on it, selecting Details and unticking Locked against deletion by XXXX.

  5. Click Save, Close.

  6. Right-click on the document again and select Delete. A message will appear; click OK.
