Document Manager - Deactivate Client Portal in Document Manager

Activate and Deactivate Document Hub

Important: All HandiSoft users must exit their programs prior to commencing these steps.

  1. Log in to Practice Manager Contact or HandiSoft with the username ADMINISTRATOR.

  2. Press F10 to open Document Manager.

  3. Go to the Options menu, click the option to Deactivate Client Portal.

  4. Once this option has been selected, each user can then log back in to their HandiSoft program(s).

  5. Client Portal is confirmed to have been deactivated if:

    • the Client Details window shows the Client Portal\Document Hub field greyed out, and the status displays as Deactivated.

    • in Document Manager, under the Options menu, Client Portal is greyed out.

  6. If you go to Options, Activate Client Portal, then restart HandiSoft to find that the Portal is unavailable, you will need to raise a new case with Support online for further investigation.
