If you do not require the Client Portal anymore, complete the following steps:
The Administrator or Practice Owner will need to raise a new case with support with a request to remove Client Portal access for all your users and clients, including your Admin user. Once your request is taken care of, you will be contacted by a support analyst to go ahead with these steps.
Ensure you have a working backup and all HandiSoft users have exited their programs. Run on the Server, if possible, as this will ensure a quicker process.
Run any of your Access Handisoft programs as the user Administrator. If using Practice Manager Security, ensure that you log in as a member of the Administrators group.
Press F10 to open Document Manager.
From the Document Manager Tools menu, click Remove Client Portal to open the Remove Client Portal window.
βNote: The Remove Client Portal menu item is only available if you log in as Administrator after requesting Access Customer Success to remove the Client Portal from your firm.In the Folder: field, name the folder in each Client drawer for existing signed documents within Client Portal to be saved to. If the named folder does not exist in a Client drawer, it will be created automatically.
Click OK to confirm the client portal removal.
If the above steps do not work or you cannot see the Remove Client Portal option:
Go to Tools, Copy a New HandiSoft Index File, and tick Download.
Follow the prompts to refresh the index file for your practice.
Close out of all Handisoft programs.
Repeat steps 2 - 6 again.
