Document Manager usually stores files in your HSoft\Doc\DocBase folder. If you don’t find them there or in Document Manager, follow the steps below to run a synchronisation or restore the missing file from your backup.
Documents not in Document Manager
If documents are missing for a specific client:
Navigate to File Explorer and open the HSoft\Doc\DocBase\Clients folder.
Locate the Client Reference, and open this folder.
If documents exist here, log in to any HandiSoft program, then press F10 to open Document Manager.
Right-click on the drawer for this Client Reference, then select Synchronise.
Click OK once complete.
Note: You can recover the deleted document from your Windows Recycle Bin if it is still there.
Documents not from File Explorer
Navigate to File Explorer and open the HSoft\Doc\DocBase\Clients folder.
Locate the Client Reference, and open this folder.
If the documents don't exist here, you will need to restore them from a backup.
Locate your backup.
Go to the HSoft\Doc\DocBase\Clients\Client Reference folder in your backup to retrieve and replace the missing files (s) into your current HSoft\Doc\DocBase\Clients\Client Reference folder.
Log in to any HandiSoft program, then press F10 to open Document Manager.
Right-click on the drawer for this Client Reference, then select Synchronise.
Click OK once complete.
