If the error occurs, try the import again
If the issue persists, see instructions below:
Locate an earlier copy of the file OdbImportExportFile.Dat from a backup (located in the HSoft\Data) folder to restore.
Close HandiSoft programs.
Open File Explorer to navigate to HSoft\Data folder.
Rename OdbImportExportFile.Dat file with today's date at the end e.g. OdbImportExportFile.Dat-XX-09-2022B.
Rename HLConversion.Dat to the filename with today's date on the end e.g. HLConversion.Dat-XX-09-2022.
Restore an older version of OdbImportExportFile.Dat to your HSoft\Data folder.
Re-open HandiLedger to see if it has fixed the issue.
