If you have renamed the DLL file for the purpose of putting an older DLL file, ensure the correct file name Ht2XDll.dll exists (X represents the year, e.g. Ht22Dll.dll). If there is a number on the end in brackets e.g. Ht22Dll.dll(1) or Ht2xDll (1).dll, then it won't be recognised by the program when you launch the application; you need to rename it and remove the (1) in brackets or whichever number appears. The numbers and brackets are generated when there are multiple copies of a file, such as when you have downloaded the same file numerous times.
If you receive the following error, not related to the above, when opening HandiTax 20XX: 'Unable to load HT2Xdll.dll', you will need to reinstall the full version of HandiTax 202X.
