The Company List report in HandiRegister can identify matches between a company’s address and your agent’s address. To ensure the report’s accuracy, ensure the company’s addresses match the agent’s address specified under the Options menu, Edge Setup, Agent Info.
If you have changed your address, you may need to change the details of companies using your office as their Registered Office.
You can change the Registered Office details:
Batch change the Registered Office.
Manually change the Registered Office for each company.
Batch change the Registered Office
Log in to HandiRegister.
From the Company view, click Tag on each company for which the Registered Office needs updating.
Go to Tools, then Batch Change Registered Office.
Enter the new Registered Office details and indicate whether it is also to be the Principal Place of Business.
Select the Create Form 484/489 checkbox to create a form for each tagged company to be lodged with ASIC.
Click OK to make the changes to all the tagged companies.
An Attention window displays the number of addresses changed. Click Yes if you want to view the report.
Use the Tag button again to untag your Companies.
If you choose to create the forms, they will display under the Unsigned Forms tab and will need to be lodged as normal.
Manually change the Registered Office for each company
Log in to HandiRegister.
Select the Company, then select Edit.
On the Company detail screen, select the Address tab.
Under Registered Office Address or Principal Place of Business Address, make the necessary changes.
Press F2 or type in the Change date, then click Save.
If you want to notify ASIC of the change, select Create ASIC Form, OK.
Forms created will display under the Unsigned Forms tab and can be lodged when ready.
