During the lodgment process, if an ATO Edit Error, appears, preventing the lodgment, this indicates there is an SBR error in the tax return.
Log in to HandiTax and Select the tax return.
Go in to the tax return, then click Errors.
Review the SBR error detail and rectify.
Click Errors again, and if clear, proceed with the lodgment process.
βNote: If the preparer and lodger in your office are not the same person, the lodger may need to check the return for errors before lodging.
