If in your HandiLedger, under the Banking menu, you find the Bank Statement Input/Import option greyed out:
Ensure your client is selected.
If you use our Practice Manager Security i.e. you need to enter a password to log in to HandiSoft programs, see if other users also have the option greyed out.
If so, have your Administrator temporarily disable Practice Manager Security.
Log back in to HandiLedger. If the issue persists:
follow the steps to rebuild in HandiLedger.
Raise a case with support for assistance to review your Practice Manager Security settings.
Log out of HandiLedger, then have your Administrator enable Practice Manager Security.
Rebuild Database files in HandiLedger
All users need to close all HandiSoft programs.
Go to File Explorer and go to the HSoft\Data folder. on the server drive.
Sort the files by Type.
Locate and rename any files where the Type is .Reb.
Open HandiLedger on one computer only.
Go to Tools, Rebuild Database files.
Tick the boxes below and click on Rebuild on the right hand side.
Close when complete and assess if the Bank Statement menu item is enabled for your client.
