HandiLedger - Trying to execute too many copies message in HandiLedger

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The number of HandiLedger user licenses determines how many users can log in to the program concurrently. If you are trying execute too many copies of HandiLedger, you will need to see if a user can exit their session to free up a license.

For HandiSoft Desktop users, your server may have locked a user into a HandiLedger session.

  1. Go to the Server computer.

  2. Go to Search, type in Computer Management, then open the application.

  3. Go to the Shared Folders, Open Files, and review any users listed as having HandiLedger open when they are not physically using the program.

  4. End their HandiLedger session.

  5. Log in to HandiLedger.

  6. If the error remains, reboot your server. Consult with your IT technician before rebooting your server.

Tip: You can check in any HandiSoft program, under Help, About, Licenses to review your numbers. If you require more than the licensed number of users to access HandiLedger concurrently, you will need to purchase additional licenses.
