The Event Log Viewer monitors and tracks all user actions performed in HandiSoft programs. Practice Manager Security writes this information to a log file so that you can also view historical logs.
Note: The log function can be disabled by going to the Options menu, then click Write to Log.
View log entries
The Administrator user will log in to Practice Manager Security.
Then, from the File menu, click Log Viewer.
Click the (+) sign next to the HandiSoft program you want to view logged events.
When the program entry expands, click the (+) sign next to the year for which you want to view logged events.
Click the (+) sign next to the applicable month to expand the entry.
Click on the required day. Practice Manager Security will display the log entries for the selected day.
Log information
The Event Log Viewer displays the following:
Time: The exact time the event took place.
User: The name of the user who performed the action resulting in the event.
Text: A brief description of the event.
Tip: For more information on individual events, click View and use the up and down arrows.
