Practice Manager Security - Unable to authenticate user login in Practice Manager Security

When trying to log in to a HandiSoft program, the 'Unable to authenticate user' error may occur. This means the username does not exist in Practice Manager Security.

To resolve the error:

  1. Log in as Administrator to the relevant Practice Manager Security year.

  2. On the Users tab, click New to add the user.

  3. In the User field, enter the username.

  4. Under Member Of, select one group that the user will be part of.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Attempt to log in to the HandiSoft program again.
