Practice Manager Contact - Events and icons are greyed out in Practice Manager Contact

If, when you log in to Practice Manager Contact, the Events/View menu bar is disabled or greyed out, this may be due to the licensing.

In the top left-hand corner of the screen, you may see the program HandiSoft has opened rather than Practice Manager Contact.

This occurs when either you're not licensed for Practice Manager Contact or all user licenses have been exhausted for Practice Manager Contact, resulting in the program defaulting to the simplified version ‘HandiSoft’.

To resolve the issue, if you are licensed for Practice Manager Contact:

  1. Log out all users not required to be in Practice Manager Contact.

  2. Log out of the HandiSoft module that you have opened.

  3. Then attempt to log back in to Practice Manager Contact.

  4. Ensure the top-left of the screen displays Practice Manager Contact.

Note: To check how many users are in the program, go to another computer in the office where there is a user already in Practice Manager Contact, go to Help, About, then click on the Licences tab.
