If you see errors like Invalid data segment, Not unique in record, Invalid record ID, data incomplete, Not node page at position, or database corrupted, you can run a rebuild to fix the affected data file. The error message will tell you which file is impacted.
Use this file reference to identify what to rebuild:
Funds and assets: HsfMain.dat
Transactions: HsfTransactions.dat
ASX data: HsfASX.dat
Saved reports: HsfSavedReports.dat
Client details: Clients.XX
Entity data: Entity.dat
Run a rebuild in SuperFund
Identify the affected file from the error message.
Ensure you have a current, working backup of your HSoft directory.
Close all HandiSoft programs on all machines.
Go to File Explorer and open the HSoft\Data folder.
Sort files by Type.
Locate files with the type REB and delete only those REB files.
Continue if there are no REB files.Log in to SuperFund only.
Go to Tools, Reindex or Rebuild Database files.
Select the file or files you identified earlier.
Click Rebuild.
Review and accept the prompts.
Wait for the rebuild to complete, then check if the error is resolved.
