Send Notifications
The Activity Monitor allows you to send a notification to users logged in to particular HandiSoft programs.
The Administrator, or a member of the Administrators group, must log in to Practice Manager Security.
Go to the File menu, then click Activity Monitor. You can also click the Activity Monitor icon on the left-hand panel.
Highlight the program you want to send the notification for, for all programs highlight HandiSoft Programs.
Click Notify.
Complete the Program Notification window as required, then click Send.
Users logged into the particular program(s), will receive the Notification message.
Lock Programs
The Activity Monitor allows users to be locked out of opening the program(s).
From the File menu, click Activity Monitor, or click the Activity Monitor icon on the left-hand panel.
Highlight the program(s) you want to lock users out of, for all programs highlight HandiSoft Programs.
Click Lock.
Users trying to open the program(s) will now be locked out of it.
To allow users back into the program(s), click Lock again to unlock the program(s).
Note: Users will only be locked from opening the program(s), users already logged in will not be affected.
