The reason why certain menu options are not highlighted (greyed out) in other programs could be due to that user not being given access to that option in Practice Manager Security.
β
If a particular user is supposed to have access to the options, you will need to log into PM Security (Practice Manager Security) as an Administrator and give the user the permission/rights to access the required options.
Log in to Practice Manager Security as the Administrator user.
Go to File, Groups.
Highlight the Group to which the User belongs and click Edit.
View the permissions and if incorrect amend accordingly.
βNote: If they are allocated incorrectly to this group, you may need to move the user to another group that has the required permissions.Click the tab for each HandiSoft program you selected and set the permissions by selecting the relevant action check box.
Click OK to save the changes to the user group settings.
You are asked if you want to update the group details in prior HandiSoft versions as well. If you click Yes, the group is updated in prior versions of HandiSoft with the details entered here. If the group did not exist in prior versions, it is created now.
If Document Manager is greyed out and Security is not enabled you can go to the Options and Document Manager menu and ensure the use Document manager is ticked
