Time+Billing - Update my letterhead in Time+Billing

Using the below steps, you can create a new letterhead or update an existing one.

Note: Letterheads cannot be exported\imported\restored, as such, if you're making changes to your existing letterhead, we recommend making a copy of the original so you have a backup.

  1. Log in to Time+Billing.

  2. From the Options menu, click Letterhead.

  3. On the “Letterhead” window, click New to create a new letterhead or highlight an existing letterhead and click Copy to modify the existing letterhead.

  4. Type in a suitable description.

  5. Highlight the letterhead and click Design. The "Report Designer: Letterhead window will open.

  6. Double click the required cell to make changes. Note: All text must be enclosed in quotation marks ("Text").

  7. To insert an image such as your company logo, the image file needs to be in the format of a *.jpg, *.bmp or *.wmf file. Double click the cell to open the “Cell Details” window.

  8. Set the ‘Cell Type’ to Image and click Set Image to choose your logo file.

  9. Complete the Image Effects section of the “Cell Details” window.

  10. Click OK to save the changes.

  11. After each change is made go to the Report menu and click Execute to check the letterhead for errors.

  12. Once you are happy with the design go to the Report menu and click Save.

  13. Close out of the Report Designer.

  14. To use this new letterhead, from the Letterhead window, tick your new letterhead.

If you are using pre-printed stationery that already has a letterhead, Time+Billing allows you to set the amount of blank space to be left to accommodate a pre-printed letterhead.

  1. To create a blank letterhead, from the “Letterhead” window, highlight the Time & Billing Default Letterhead and click Copy.

  2. Give the new letterhead a name e.g. Time & Billing Blank Letterhead.

  3. With the blank letterhead highlighted click None.

  4. On the ‘Blank Letterhead Height’ window set the required measurement and click OK.

  5. To use this blank letterhead, from the ‘Letterhead’ window, tick the blank letterhead.
