The following process can be used to add a hyperlink to an Invoice layout.
Log in to Time+Billing.
Go to Options and click on Notice Layouts.
Select the ellipsis button on the invoice field.
In the list of Invoice Layouts select the layout that you use. We selected Invoice (Letter Style) for this example.
To change a HandiSoft default Invoice Layout, highlight the line and click Copy.
Provide a unique, new report layout name.
In our example we have renamed the invoice layout to Invoice With Remittance (Letter Style) with Hyperlink.
Click Design to open the Report Designer window and click the FooterBand.
The green-highlighted cell represents a blank line and will be used for a hyperlink. Double-click the highlighted cell to modify as follows:
Cell Position & Colour - Width adjust to 1695.
Cell Type - Text.
Cell value field - enter the hyperlink. ensure the website begins with http:// and the text is enclosed in double quotations.
Bold Text - tick the Bold and underline ( if required).
Justification Style - use the drop-down arrow to select right justify.
Click OK and Save.
Close out of the Invoice layout and select Yes to Save unsaved changes.
On the Invoice Layout screen, highlight and Select the invoice layout with the changes.
This will set the invoice as the default when generating invoices.
The layout will appear in the Notice Layout field on the Prepare an invoice window.
To view the hyperlink, preview the invoice and select File, then Export to PDF.
The hyperlink will display in the footer.
