Warning: This is only applicable for situations where the destination HSoft folder is a new blank installation. If there is existing data in the destination folder, it will be overwritten with the data that you are copying.
Ensure you have a working backup available.
Close all HandiSoft Programs.
Navigate to HSoft\Data.
Locate all files starting with the word Hm. you can press the Name column to sort the filenames in alphabetical order.
Hold down Ctrl on the keyboard and left-click to select all files starting with Hm.
Include the latest year clients file Clients.xx (eg. 2025 year would be Clients.25).
Copy these files and paste them into the HSoft\Data destination folder.
Note: This will overwrite the Clients database file and all Time+Billing data. Ensure the destination folder is a blank installation without any existing data.
