Document Manager - Allow user access to a new folder or cabinet in Document Manager

This issue can occur when using Practice Manager Security, as restrictions are withheld until the Administrator gives you permission to view the new cabinet or folders.​

  1. Log in to Practice Manager Security using the Administrator user account.

  2. Select the Groups tab and highlight your Users group and click Edit.

  3. Select the Document Manager tab and expand Cabinets.

  4. Find the new folder and tick the box to be included for your group to access.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Select Yes to update prior versions of HandiSoft with these changes.

  7. Users will now need to close out of all HandiSoft programs and then log in for the changes to take effect.
