Access HandiSoft - update to changes to Notify

We’re pleased to share some positive news regarding the upcoming changes to the HandiSoft Notify SMS messaging service.
As part of our commitment to supporting your practice and minimising disruption, we have worked closely with our SMS provider and successfully secured an extension to the current service. The decommissioning of the existing SMS platform has now been rescheduled to 23 June 2025.
To ensure continuity, the new SMS service will be made available with the release of HandiSoft Version 1.00 (2025), scheduled for 19 June 2025. Once available, you will need to download and install this latest version to resume SMS functionality through HandiSoft Notify.
We also want to remind you of two important changes in the new service:
SMS replies will no longer be supported. The new platform does not facilitate inbound messaging, meaning customers will not be able to respond to your SMS messages.
Custom sender identification will no longer be available. Previously, you could configure a phone number or business name to appear as the sender. With the new service, all messages will be sent from a fixed number that cannot be changed.
Summary of Key Dates
19 June 2025: HandiSoft v1.00 (2025) will be released, including the new SMS service.
23 June 2025: Decommissioning of the current SMS platform.
Action required: Please install the new version to continue using HandiSoft Notify.
Please note: SMS replies will no longer be supported.
Existing SMS credits will be transferred to the new messaging platform.
