Document Hub - Why does each portal user require an unique email address from Document Hub upgrade V2022.1, 5 February 2022?

The Document Hub Portal team are always focused on industry leading security standards. With this in mind, we recently implemented a change that further increases the security posture for individuals who are setup with the Client Portal service.

All individual Portal users must have a unique email address. Previously you could have a situation whereby two individuals could be registered for the Client Portal using the same email address. This is no longer permitted.

It is important to ensure that individuals are identifiable via something specific to them, and in relation to Client Portal logins and communication, a unique email address is required.

As we grow our products and the connectivity that they will share with each other, individuals across the connected eco system of products are vital. These individuals will require many components that identify them, one being a unique email address.
