Reset a Portal User’s Password
You can reset a Portal User’s password if you think it has been compromised or if the user is locked out after too many incorrect login attempts.
Log in to your Practice Manager or HandiSoft program.
Find and highlight the client linked to the Portal User, then click Edit.
Under Related, go to the Document Hub field and click the ellipsis.
Highlight the Portal User and click Reset Password.
If the user’s status shows Locked Out (after four incorrect attempts), click Resend Activation instead.
When the Attention window appears, click Yes to confirm.
The Portal User will receive an email with a link to create a new password.
