Document Hub - How to reset the portal password for a client?

You can reset a Portal User’s password if you suspect it has been compromised, or if the user has been locked out after making too many attempts to log into Document Hub with an incorrect user name or password.

  1. Log in to your Practice Manager or HandiSoft program.

  2. Highlight the client whose password is to be reset and click Edit

  3. Under Related, in the Document Hub field, click Ellipsis.

  4. Highlight the required Portal User and click Reset Password.

  5. If the user has a Status of Locked Out, indicating that they have entered an incorrect password four times, click Resend Activation.

  6. On the Attention window, click Yes to confirm the password reset.

  7. The Portal user will receive an email with a link to enter a new password.
