Document Hub - How do I customise the Document Hub activation email for users?

Customising the Document Hub activation email for Portal Users

The Admin user has the ability to customisation the initial activation email that is sent to clients inviting them to use Client Portal.

There are some details that may appear from the User window in HandiSoft/Practice Manager Contact under View, Users, and the usernames' first and last name may be appearing.

  1. Log into the Document Hub portal via the web browser.

  2. In the Accountant's Practice ID enter your reference code e.g. XXXX1234

  3. In the User name and Password fields, enter 'Admin' and the admin Password.

  4. Click Login to access the Document Hub Admin page.

5. Click the Options tab and highlight one of the following Text types and click the pencil icon to Edit:

  • DefaultPortalActivationAfter - text appears after instructions and before the salutation.

  • DefaultPortalActivationBefore - text appears before the activation instructions. (Select Page 2 to view)

  • DefaultPortalActivationWelcome - text appears in bold below the email subject, (Select Page 2 to view)

6. Enter the customised text in the RawString field on the Edit Text window and click Save.

Note: The instructions in the body of the activation email cannot be customised.
