The ATO no longer issue ATO Communication details to lodge prior year ELS tax returns.
To lodge 2014 and prior years in HandiTax you will need to enter dummy details.
In the most current year HandiTax go to Options, ELS Communication Options
Click Edit
Enter ELS Approval number, (example: 12345)
Select an Office of Lodgment from the dropdown list
Enter Code 1, (example: V12345)
Enter Code 2, (example: z6hvqycmsr)
Click the ellipsis next to New ELS Password to generate a password
Under ELS Password, select Fix mistake if pwd has expired
Enter ELS User Id (example: A12345)
Select a Primary CEG
Click Save, Ok.
Note: The below screen print is an example of the above dummy details once entered in ATO Communication options.
Note: For clients using the SQL version, please also check the ELS Folder path is pointing to the correct ELS folder.
