Lodgement of a tax return may require setting M2M credentials again depending on the tax agent lodging for the client in HandiTax.
While we do that we get the message "For this Machine Credential to be applied, please restart HandiTax' and we are required to exit out of HandiTax for the changes to be applied.
Select Lodgment, Set ATO Credentials.
Browse for KeyStore file, click the ellipse button, highlight your KeyStore file and click Open.
Select Credential, drop down the arrow and select the relevant credential.
Enter the KeyStore Password.
Click Ok.
For this Machine Credential to be applied, please restart HandiTax.
Click Ok.
Close out of HandiTax.
Open and login to HandiTax and lodge or prefill the return for your client.
Note: Do not go back into the Set ATO Credentials screen, when you have logged back into HandiTax you should be able to lodge the tax return or prefill a tax return if the ATO credentials are valid.
