Generating an invoice from HandiTax
HandiTax can generate an invoice for a client, to generate an invoice for a client from HandiTax read the below steps:
If you use Document Manager this has to be turned off, in Practice Manager or HandiSoft by going to Options, Document Manager, Untick Use Document Manager, OK.
2. Open HandiTax and Tag the client to be invoiced.
3. Click on the Edit button (in the middle of the screen). The Clients Detail screen opens.
4. Complete the Billing section, then Save, Close.
5. Repeat steps 2 – 4 for the other client’s to be invoiced.
6. From the Document menu, click Print Standard Documents.
7. Scroll down and highlight the #Tagged filter then click Select.
8. This opens the Hsoft/Doc location.
9. Scroll down to the word document titled Invoice
10. Click Open
11. Click Print, OK
12. Review the printed invoices.
The Reports and Edit Reports menu has a default Tax Invoice - Sample which can be selected and run for the Selected Client.
Note: The invoice function within the HandiTax program would not be as detailed as that in our Time+Billing program, and should a more detailed invoice be required it is recommended to use our Time+Billing program for this function.
