An account range is a grouping of account codes from the HandiLedger chart of accounts. HandiLedger uses the account ranges when it creates reports.
To view the account ranges:
Log in to HandiLedger, then Select your entity.
Go to View, Chart of Accounts.
Click Tools, then select View account range table.
Accounts in the ranges below can show either a debit or a credit balance on financial statements. For example, if an asset account like Cash at Bank has a credit balance, HandiLedger will show it as a liability. This ensures the financial statements reflect the true nature of each account based on its balance.
