HandiLedger - Customise a clients chart of accounts in HandiLedger

Important: When adding or modifying accounts in HandiLedger, it's essential to follow the correct account number ranges. If these ranges aren't followed, reports may not display financial data accurately and could become unbalanced.

View the account ranges

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and select your entity.

  2. Go to View, Chart of Accounts

  3. Click Tools on the Chart of Accounts window.

  4. Click View account range table.

Modify a client chart

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and select your entity.

  2. Go to View, Chart of Accounts.

  3. If the selected entity has divisions, in the Divisions field, select the required division.

  4. Click the tab for the account type, i.e. Expenses.

  5. Use the New, Edit, and Delete buttons to change the client chart as required.

  6. Click Save, then Close.
