HandiLedger - Email HandiLedger data to another accountant and support in HandiLedger

In HandiLedger, you can transmit data files via email.

You can send:

  • Data for use in another HandiLedger program, one entity at a time.

  • Data for your HandiBiz client.


Email HandiLedger data to another accountant

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select the entity you want to transfer the data for.

  2. Go to Tools, Copy selected entity to disk.

    1. For HandiLedger data, select Windows HandiLedger data.

    2. For HandiBiz, select Cashbook Setup data.

    3. For Debtors select Debtors / Creditors data.

  3. In the Send Ledger Files window, tick all years that you want to email/export.

  4. Select Email Recipient, then click Save.

  5. Select Save to Disk to save the data file to your desktop if you prefer to attach to an existing email.

  6. An email will open with the HandiLedger data attached. Complete the email details and Send.

Note: If your email has been configured correctly and is not a browser email program, you should get a Compose an Email window with the data file attached. If not, you may need to get your systems administrator to configure your email facility correctly on your computer, so that Outlook is your default email.

If you have uploaded data from another version of HandiLedger and the reports appear blank, you can troubleshoot blank reports. Ensure both instances of HandiLedger are on the same version. You can check this via Help, About.

Upload HandiLedger data to Support

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select the entity you want to transfer the data for.

  2. Go to Tools, Copy selected entity to disk, then select Windows HandiLedger Data.

  3. In the Send Ledger Files window, tick all years that you want to export.

  4. In the Send Ledger Files window, select Save to Disk, Tick the years then Save.

  5. Select a folder on the computer to save the zip file.

  6. Log in to MyAccess portal and use the Digital Assistant to contact support.
