When trying to add a receipt in Time+Billing the error, Unable to add record to table: hm_receipt, or, the following value(s) already exist. Rec = xxx' errors can occur.
Make a note of the receipt number that shows in the error (eg. 10123)
Go to View and select Receipts. Does this receipt number exist?
If yes, close the receipts window and go to the Options menu, Invoice/Receipt Numbers.
Under Receipt, tick Manual Numbers then click OK.
Return to the receipt window and create a new receipt and manually enter the next available number.
Save.
