Copilot
What is Copilot?
A component of HandiSoft Evo, Copilot is an intuitive chat-based interface that is available in-product and on your mobile phone, powered by Microsoft OpenAI and privately hosted by Access to keep your data safe and secure. It’s your digital assistant delivering what you need while you work. Everything from data and tax return queries to smart email suggestions can be done in an instant.
What can I use Copilot for?
You can use Copilot to perform many of your daily work activities. For example, you could ask Copilot “Can you help me build a strategy for..." or "Can you help me write an email to explain...". To get you started, we’ve put together some, why not give these a try? In no time, you’ll be using Copilot for your own tasks. See Ask a question in Copilot.
Do I have to ask questions in a particular format?
You don’t have to use a specific format or style to ask Copilot questions. You can phrase them in any way, just like in a normal conversation. To get the most out of Copilot, it helps to keep your questions concise and specific.
Will Copilot always give me the correct answer?
Copilot creates an answer using the context it has – your question, data in the large language model (LLM) and Access-owned data specifically provided to it. It uses these collectively to provides the best answer it can, but you should always review the results in case it made a mistake. With the Analytics plug-in, Copilot tells you how it got the data – such as the view or filter applied – so you can “sense check” to make sure it’s logical and reasonable.
Will I always get the same answer to the same question?
Copilot might not answer the same question in the same way every time. It’s powered by a large language model that mimics the way the human brain works. It responds based on the context available to it at the time, so it might respond differently to the same or similar questions just as a human brain would.
Feed
What is Feed?
Feed consolidates data from your HandiSoft system into intelligent alerts and notifications personalised to what is important for you and your role. Feed automatically manages your priorities to keep you focused on what matters most. Similar to Copilot, you can launch Feed using the Access Button from HandiSoft Evo.

What is the Access Evo mobile app?
The Access Evo Mobile app keeps you connected with your HandiSoft data on the go, providing access to features like Copilot and Feed. Your team can now access information in HandiSoft to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively without needing to access the core software.

Data security and privacy
How can I be sure my data remains secure?
At Access we believe we must keep our customers’ data safe, secure and confidential whatever technology we use. All your data and information is kept within a private secure environment. Your data is never used in other Open AI systems. Access Evo uses our 3-tier security model that allows anyone in your company to use AI within a secure and private environment. No customer data will leave the controlled infrastructure.

What access to our data is given to our employees who use HandiSoft Evo?
Your employees only have access to data they're entitled to interact with or view without Copilot. It maintains all user permissions and controls – no one can see what they shouldn’t have access to.

How do I get support if I need help or have an issue with HandiSoft Evo?
To get support, follow your usual process to raise a case with the Support team. You can also find articles here in the Customer Success Portal to solve problems and help you better use HandiSoft Evo.

How do I give feedback about HandiSoft Evo?
We’d love to hear what you think of HandiSoft Evo. Your feedback helps us improve how it works and develop enhancements. You can send feedback while you’re using Copilot. From the Access Button menu, click the Help and Support link and then click Access Button Feedback.
