HandiTrust - Client receipt processing in HandiTrust

In HandiTrust, to process a monetary amount received from your client into your trust bank account, you need to record a Client Receipt.

  1. Log in to HandiTrust.

  2. Go to Input, Client Receipt.

  3. Complete the Client Receipt window as required, then click Save.

This will:

  • Increase the client trust card balance.

  • Increase the firm trust card balance.

When funds are moved out of the client trust card (for example, via a Client Payment), both the client trust card and the firm trust card balances will decrease accordingly.
