Your unique Software ID is generated once you have set up the Access ATO Gateway in HandiTax.
Note: A Software ID is not required to lodge by SBR using the ATO Credential Authentication lodgment mode.
Software ID
Open the current year of HandiTax.
From the Lodgment menu, click Set ATO Credentials.
Your Software ID is displayed below the ABN. This is unique to your firm and will contain your Five-digit HandiSoft customer ID number.
Example:
If the Software ID field displays Not registered, complete the registration process: Enabling the Access ATO Gateway within HandiTax.
Note: If you have completed the registration process and still unable to see the Software ID, close and restart your HandiSoft programs and advise other users of HandiTax to close and restart HandiTax.
