The ATO will assign a tax level to specific clients based on the clients’ tax position in the previous tax year. Tax levels are allocated to each individual, partnership, trust, company and superannuation fund depending primarily on the tax remitted by the client in their previous tax return. The tax levels are:
Change the tax level in HandiTax
Log in to HandiTax.
Select the client and then click Edit in the Tax Forms section.
Enter the correct number into the Tax Level field and click Save.
