HandiTax - Unable to download EFT reports in HandiTax

The EFT functionality is available in the current HandiTax year. The EFT Reconciliation report provides details of EFT refunds expected to be deposited into your firm’s trust account.

No matching reports available result

If you receive a report stating error, ' No matching reports available', after requesting an EFT Reconciliation report, check your IT environment.

Check your IT environment

Before attempting the steps below, confirm that your HSoft folder is not being synced to a cloud storage service (such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or iCloud). Syncing HandiSoft data to cloud storage is not supported and can cause EFT Reconciliation failures and lodgment issues in HandiTax. See Recommended Hardware and Software for more information.

  1. Check whether your HSoft folder is located inside a Google Drive, OneDrive, or other cloud-synced folder.

  2. If it is, sign out of the cloud sync application (e.g. Google Drive for Desktop) or disable sync for that folder.

  3. Restart HandiTax and attempt the EFT Reconciliation report again before proceeding with further troubleshooting.

🤓Tip: For best results, install and run HandiSoft from a stable environment, such as a local hard drive on a computer or server.
