HandiTax - Retrieve EFT Reports in HandiTax

EFT reports are available on days when amounts are expected to be credited to your trust account. EFT reports can take one day for the ATO to process.

To ensure you can retrieve EFT reports:

  1. Log in to the current year of HandiTax.

  2. Go to ATO Reports, Manage Agent Trust and Manage EFT Subscription.

  3. Ensure both settings are complete.

  4. In the ATO's Access Manager, check that your Agent/User Permissions are set to View Agent Reports.

  5. In HandiTax go to Help, SBR System Status and PLS Dashboard to check if the ATO has a system outage.

Retrieve the EFT Reconciliation Report

  1. Log in to HandiTax, then go to ATO reports, EFT Reconciliation.

  2. ​​​​​​​Ensure the correct Tax Agent is selected, enter the credential password, then Submit.

Any issues with lodging the EFT subscription?

  1. Log in to HandiTax, then go to Reports, Report Navigator.

  2. Click the ATO Reports tab, Acknowledgement/Error Report.

  3. Click View to preview the report. The status should be Accepted.

  4. If you have checked the above steps but still no reports are downloading, contact the ATO to investigate. Provide the ATO with the Transaction ID and Message ID from the Lodgment Information Report.
