The electronic funds transfer (EFT) Reconciliation report, provided by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), shows details of EFT refunds expected to be deposited into your firm's trust account.
The EFT functionality is available in the current HandiTax year. If you see a 'No matching reports available' error after you request an EFT Reconciliation report, work through the steps below to resolve it.
Check your IT environment
If you see the 'No matching reports available' error, check your IT environment first. Confirm that your HSoft folder is not being synced to a cloud storage service, such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or iCloud. Syncing HandiSoft data to cloud storage is not supported and can cause EFT Reconciliation failures and lodgment issues in HandiTax. For more information, see Recommended Hardware and Software.
Check whether your HSoft folder is located inside a Google Drive, OneDrive, or other cloud-synced folder.
If it is, sign out of the cloud sync application, such as Google Drive for Desktop, or disable sync for that folder.
Restart HandiTax and attempt the EFT Reconciliation report again before proceeding with further troubleshooting.
đ¤Tip: For best results, install and run HandiSoft from a stable environment, such as a local hard drive on a computer or server.
