Document Hub - Unlink users from a group in Document Hub

Use steps below if multiple clients have been set up for Document Hub under the same Portal username and now need to be separated.

You can unlink Client2 from Client1’s Document Hub account by following the steps below.

Important: Backup all Client2’s portal documents to their Document Manager client folder.

  1. Log in to Practice Manager Contact as the user Administrator.

  2. Ensure that Client2 has their own unique email address in their client details window.

  3. Open Document Manager and go to View, Maintain Client Portal Logins.

  4. Locate the Client's Portal Username.

  5. In the bottom half of the window, highlight Client2 and click Move.

  6. Remove the username and select Client2’s own email address here. Click Save.

  7. A pop-up message will ask if you want to set up a new username for this Portal area. Click OK. This will create a new Document Hub username for Client2.

  8. The email that was selected at step six will receive an activation. Advise the user to click the link in the email.

  9. Client2 can now log in to Document Hub using their own email address and their new Document Hub username.
