Document Hub - How to send log files for Document Hub to HandiSoft Support

For Document Hub issues, if you have been advised to send log files to HandiSoft Support, see below steps:

  1. Have all users close all HandiSoft modules.

  2. Navigate to the Hsoft/Apps folder and find the hs.ini file.

  3. Double click to open the file, move to the bottom of the existing content and copy in the below text.

user=Administrator

  • You can replace 'Administrator' with the staff user who is starting the HandiSoft program.

4. Once the above has been added go to File, Save. Close this file.

5. Within the Hsoft/Apps folder please look for a HsCloudLog.txt file.

  • If this file exists, please delete.

  • If this file doesn't exist, please continue.

6. Open your Practice Manager\HandiSoft with the username entered at step 3. The file will now run in the background, logging your Document Hub activity.

7. Generate the error then close out of Practice Manager\HandiSoft.

8. Go back to Hsoft/Apps and find the newly created HsCloudLog.txt file.

9. Attach the HsCloudLog.txt file to the case.
