How to ensure you can see a list of all clients on your screen when using in HandiTax (ODB)

If you use HandiTax (ODB) and you are unable to see your clients on the main screen, please follow the below steps:

  1. Check to see what the Client Type box (located under the tool bar) is set to.

  2. If set Current or Non-current change it to All Clients and locate your client.

  3. Edit the Client and in the Client Detail screen and change the status of the Type in the ID section, as required.

  4. If after setting to All Clients you can't locate your client, after searching by all the options under Find, then the client would have been deleted.

  5. If client has been deleted add the client back as a new client with the original reference number. If the Client details and tax return aren't brought back you will need to restore the client from backup or re-enter as a new client and re-enter the tax return.

  6. Tip: It might be easier to re-roll the client from the previous year and then complete the tax return.
